A little bit about me...
I now live in Devon, England, and am inspired by the beautiful surroundings here.
I previously lived in Simon's Town, Cape Town, which is an artist's dream with its beautiful scenery and magical light. I love painting quirky places, particularly buildings along the coastline from St. James, Kalk Bay and Simon's Town. I have been known to use my 'artist's license' and 'cheat', in order to get all the details that I want into the painting!
Cape Town is such a colourful place, there are potential paintings everywhere I look!
I went to school in London, where I studied art. I have a degree in Graphic Design, and have worked as a Graphic Designer and Calligrapher for several years. In the last few years I have really focused on painting, especially in watercolours. .
Watercolour is a beautiful medium, and perfect for capturing the feel and colours of the Cape.
